We're coming down to the wire on taking in signed petitions for our candidates. Petition filing starts the end of this month, and we want to be able to hand over a good supply of signatures to each of our endorsed candidates and also to candidates for other offices where we have not yet endorsed.

Soon we'll know who has won ROWT's $100 prize for the most valid signaturesturned in through our organization.

We'll have a notary on hand Saturday from 10 till 1 so you can complete the process. Thank you for the work you've been putting in on this. Every valid signature counts for these candidates.

Christmas Party Coming Up - Dec. 4
Put it on your calendar now! Our annual Christmas party is set for Sunday, Dec. 4, 3 to 5 p.m. at LaZingara, 2300 E. Rand (in the Brandenberry Plaza between Waterman & Camp McDonald), Arlington Heights. A chance to usher in the holidays together and enjoy Sal's super buffet. No admission fee; gracious sponsors are underwriting the costs. We will be collecting hats, scarves and gloves or mittens for needy children in the township; bring them unwrapped, please.

Petitions & Pizza with Arie - Nov. 21
The Friedman for State Senate campaign is hosting a pizza&petitions party from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. next Monday, Nov. 21, at Giordano's, 270 N. McHenry Road, Buffalo Grove. Admission is $25, but those who submit completed petitions are welcome without charge. (If you want credit toward the ROWT $100 petition prize, hand your petition to me or to Penny Pullen, who is planning to attend this event; we'll give you credit, and so will the campaign.) Notaries will be available at this event.
